A backdrop for one person needs a different amount of space than one for a family or a whole team. Tell us who will be in the photos, whether a cake table or chair will sit in front, and how much floor space you have.
We can plan a freestanding backdrop or work around an existing wall or feature. Panels, hoops, shimmer details and signs each change the look. We'll talk through which pieces suit your theme and venue.
Keep the photo area clear of entrances and busy walkways. If it's outdoors, send photos that show the sun exposure and the ground surface. We'll use those details to plan the placement and installation.

How much does a balloon backdrop cost?
Balloon backdrops start at $650. Pricing depends on the overall scale, the type of frame or wall coordination needed, the color palette, and whether the design includes signage, branding, or other finishing details.
Should I choose a freestanding or wall setup?
A wall setup works well when the venue has a clean background and enough room to frame it nicely. A freestanding backdrop is often the better fit when the focal point needs more flexibility, better traffic flow, or coverage over a less ideal wall or open space.
What size works best for photos and signage?
The best size depends on the venue, the distance guests will stand from the backdrop, and whether the setup needs to frame a welcome sign, cake table, or branded photo area. Poptastic Parties helps clients in Pleasanton, Livermore, and the East Bay choose proportions that feel balanced in the room.
What do you need to plan a balloon photo backdrop?
Send your date, venue, budget and colors or theme, along with a photo of the space, its floor width and ceiling height. Tell us how many people should fit in a photo and whether a table or chair will sit in front. Include the setup and removal windows too.
Are balloons bad for the environment?
The balloons we primarily use are biodegradable natural rubber latex, made from sap harvested from rubber trees. We use these balloons to create our arches, garlands and installations.

Being an event planner and coordinator myself it is important that all vendors hired by the host respond well and be on time for the event setup in order for the event to run smoothly & that is exactly what they delivered. The full team was organized and knew exactly what needs to be done. I would recommend Poptastic Parties to anyone in the Tri-Valley looking for a unique party/event decoration that makes for a phenomenal picture backdrop from a very professional company with excellent communication and customer service.
