A balloon sculpture is a custom, three dimensional design made with balloons. It can be a landmark you love or a playful shape that fits your event. Unlike an arch or a garland, a sculpture is usually a one of a kind piece, so we plan the shape, supports and placement with you before we build.
Golden Gate Bridge built in balloons (San Francisco)
We built this red Golden Gate Bridge for a company event in San Francisco. The two towers and sweeping balloon cables give it that familiar bridge shape, with open space beneath the span and freestanding supports holding it up. It was one of our most complex custom builds, and it took our team about five hours to put together on site.
A Winnie the Pooh balloon tree (Livermore)
For a Winnie the Pooh baby shower in Livermore in October 2025, we built a balloon tree to give an outdoor venue a Hundred Acre Wood feel. The tree has a twisted brown trunk, green balloon foliage and blue balloon flowers, set beside the venue's large rustic wooden door. It was our first Pooh themed build, and the host later called it an amazing tree when she came back to book her next shower.
How a balloon sculpture comes together
01 Share your idea. Send a reference image, your event date, the venue, photos of the space and your budget. Brand colors or artwork help too.
02 We review the design. We look at which features translate well into balloons and recommend a size and approach that fits your space and budget, then send a quote.
03 We build and install. Our team builds on site during your setup window. Most installs take about an hour, but custom sculptures take longer. Our Golden Gate Bridge took about five hours, so we plan the timing around your venue.
04 We clean up. Cleanup is included with every installation, and late night teardowns are available when the venue needs the room cleared.
Tips before you plan a sculpture
- Measure the path in, not just the room. Large pieces need to fit through doorways and elevators, so send those dimensions along with the floor space and ceiling height.
- Pick the photo view first. Tell us where guests will stand to take pictures, and we'll orient the sculpture so its best side faces them.
- Leave room for supports and guest flow. Big sculptures need space for their supports and clear walkways around them.
- Book early for complex builds. Two to four weeks ahead is ideal, and last minute events are welcome too.

How much does a balloon sculpture cost?
Balloon sculptures are quoted for the project. The shape, scale, structural requirements, location and installation schedule all affect the price. Share your idea, budget, event date and venue photos so we can recommend an approach and prepare a quote.
Can you create a different shape or theme?
We can explore landmarks, recognizable objects and event themes. Send a reference image and any brand colors or artwork. We will review which features can translate into balloons and discuss a design that fits your space and budget.
What space and venue details do you need?
Send the available floor dimensions, ceiling height and photos of the installation area. Include loading access, doorway or elevator dimensions, setup and removal windows, and any venue restrictions. Large sculptures need room for their supports, clear guest routes and the intended photo views.
How long does a balloon sculpture take to install?
Most of our installs take about an hour, but custom sculptures take longer. Our Golden Gate Bridge sculpture in San Francisco took about five hours. We plan the timing around your venue's setup window.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal. Last minute events are welcome too, so reach out even if your date is close.

Are balloons bad for the environment?
The balloons we primarily use are biodegradable natural rubber latex, made from sap harvested from rubber trees. We use these balloons to create our arches, garlands and installations.
