A balloon garland is one of the easiest ways to add color, texture, and a custom look to a party or event space. Poptastic Parties creates balloon garlands for birthdays, showers, school celebrations, and business events throughout Pleasanton, Livermore, the Tri-Valley, and the Bay Area.
Garlands can frame dessert tables, welcome signs, stair rails, backdrops, and entry moments without taking over the room. We help choose the right length, placement, and color palette so the garland feels intentional, festive, and well matched to the rest of the event.
For company parties and branded activations, garlands can also pair with arches to frame entrances, registration tables, and photo spots. We often recommend balloon garlands and arches in San Jose for larger office events, garland installations for Mountain View company events, and color-matched displays for Redwood City office celebrations.
For layered event spaces, garlands can soften registration tables, office lounges, and school celebration areas while still pairing well with arches. Poptastic Parties can plan garland installs for Dublin school and company events, Livermore celebrations, Sunnyvale office parties, and Milpitas branded activations.
Pick up your garland or have us install it
A Grab-and-Go garland is assembled before you pick it up from our Pleasanton studio, or we can deliver it to you. You hang it yourself, and after the party you pop and clean up the balloons. It's a good fit for a straightforward setup when you're happy to handle the placement.
For a staircase, a larger entrance or a display with more involved attachment, ask us about custom installation. We'll help choose the length, balloon sizes and colors, then set it up at your venue. Cleanup is included with every installation. A photo of the space helps us work out what will fit.
If you're deciding between a grab-and-go garland and installation, send your date, location, budget and a photo of the area. We can talk through the size, transport and hanging details before you choose.
Grab-and-go garlands work for the office too. They start from $150 and can be picked up from our Pleasanton studio or dropped off at your office. For a bigger company event, a full corporate event installation starts at $650 and varies with the size of the setup.
Plan around the table, sign or doorway
A garland needs to leave room for the way people use the space. Keep serving space around a dessert table and clear passage through doors and on stairs. For a photo area, allow enough room for people to stand in front of the balloons.

How much does a professional balloon garland cost?
Grab and go balloon garlands start at $150 and come assembled for you to hang. Custom balloon garlands range from about $25 to $35 per foot depending on the design. Custom installs start at $650. Book your event with the length you want and a photo of the space so we can confirm the right option.
Where do balloon garlands look best?
Garlands work well at entry tables, dessert tables, staircase railings, welcome signs, and photo areas. The right placement depends on the event flow and the room layout.
What should be planned for sunlight and surfaces?
Outdoor garlands need extra attention to sunlight, heat, wind, and attachment points. Indoor garlands still benefit from clean surfaces and a stable setup plan.
Is a Grab-and-Go garland already assembled?
Yes. Pick up the assembled garland from our Pleasanton studio or have it delivered, then hang it yourself. Ask us about size, transport and the hanging plan when you order.
Can you install a garland at my venue?
We offer custom balloon installations across the San Francisco Bay Area, and cleanup is included with every installation. Send the venue address, date and setup window, plus photos of where you'd like the garland. We'll talk through the design and the venue details with you.
How long does it take to set up a balloon garland?
A Grab and go balloon garland takes less than 20 minutes to hang once you are ready. Longer custom balloon garlands depend on the length and the attachment surface. A Pleasanton customer review of a 16 foot balloon garland noted it was up and ready within an hour. Book your event and we will plan the setup window with you.
Are balloons bad for the environment?
The balloons we primarily use are biodegradable natural rubber latex, made from sap harvested from rubber trees. We use these balloons to create our arches, garlands and installations.

Karlie did a construction theme grab and go balloon garland for my sons birthday. It was SO CUTE and definitely was a statement piece at our party so I hardly needed to spend money on other decorations. I told her what colors I wanted and she suggested switching white out for orange and im so glad she did because my idea was way off color wise lol. She also helped my mom load it into her car and sent me video instructions on how to put it together since it came in two pieces (for transport in my moms tiny car). Overall everything was so seamless and easy with pop tasting parties. 12/10 would use Karlie again! She’s so talented, and it was absolutely worth it.

Karlie is fantastic. I had to reschedule my event due to an emergency and Karlie was more than accommodating, she was kind and caring through it all. Once I was able to reschedule, pick up went so smooth and she helped load them into my car to ensure safe transportation. The balloons turned out gorgeous and got SO many compliments. I am a huge fan of Poptastic Parties! Karlie has done two amazing garlands for my classroom. The first was for our first day of school pictures. She used our school colors and added these awesome star shaped balloons as well. It was such a festive touch to help with back to school nerves. The second was the 100th day of school garland. I love how she customized the balloons and the apple shaped balloon was so cute! The students were so excited to take pictures and walk underneath it all day long. To save money I added my own dumpling balloons and mounted it to a backdrop, but Karlie was extremely helpful in givings tips and suggestions to meet my budget. Excuse the poor photo, the wind was working against us that day but the arch looked even better in person. And Karlie was so nice to bring it to setup and give us a few extra minutes for photos before she tore down. I would absolutely call her again for all my balloon needs! Update June 2024: Karlie and her team dropped off a balloon garland for a birthday party at my house. The garland was stunning and she was so easy to work with all along the way. Thanks again!
